Utilithane® Biobased Polyurethanes are true alternates for today's hydrocarbon based commercial single ply roof deck membrane systems.

The Utilithane® Biobased Polyurethane Flat and Low Slope Roof Membrane System with Title 24 & Energy Star Acrylic elastomer based white Top Coat:

Step 1. Densdeck ¼" thickness roof board is sheeted over the entire wood roof deck to achieve a Class A non-combustible deck.

Step 2. Utilithane® Biobased Polyurethane membrane is spray applied at a thickness of 100 mils over the Densdeck, and is 100% bonded to the Densdeck.

Step 3. Approved Title 24 & Energy Star premium Acrylic white topcoat is applied at 20 mils thickness over the Utilithane® Biobased Polyurethane. 

The complete system, ¼" Densdeck, 100 Mils Utilithane®  Biobased Polyurethane and 20 Mils of Acrylic elastomer based white topcoat. The result, a Fire Rated, robust and flexible Roof Deck Protective Membrane, with Title 21 & Energy Star topcoat. 

Green Roof Systems

Utilithane® Biobased Polyurethane is also an ideal choice for waterproof membranes for Green Roof Systems. Utilithane® has been proven as a waterproof membrane over the last 15 years.

Existing Utilithane® Biobased Polyurethane Roof Deck installations are going into their 15th year of service with excellent results.
